The SARA Program is an initiative of the Multicultural Families Organisation Inc. designed to provide domestic and family violence support services for women from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities on the Gold Coast. We offer a specialist response for immigrant and refugee women who have experienced domestic and family violence.
Our services are sensitive to cultural diversity and consider the impact of both pre-and post-migration experiences. We are funded by the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney General.
SARA VICTIM SURVIVOR Acknowledgement of Impacts
We acknowledge the impacts of family violence on individuals, families and communities, and the strength and resilience of the children and adults who have and are still, experiencing family violence.
We pay respects to those who did not survive and to their family members and friends.
