YOUTH CLUB

The Homework Club was initiated by MFO in 2007, and after becoming an instant success this concept is now implemented by nearly all Settlements Services in Australia. The aim is to assist Primary and High School students, from a Cultural And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background, to adjust to the Australian educational system, learning a new language and settle into their new life environment.

LOCATIONS
To promote health, exercise, acceptance and inclusion MFO invites and encourages all young clients to participate in a variety of sports, athletic events and programmed trainings. This is a great way of meeting and making new friends, from all communities, and we cooperate with different organisations to meet the diverse interests of our young clients.
EVENTS AND SPORTS
Dancing lessons for children up to the age of 16 are currently being held each Tuesday after school from 4pm-5pm during the school term. Lessons are taking place in the united Church Community Hall at 45 Scarborough St, Southport (next door to MFO)
